Quality and Functionality Learn More

This fabric - and the many others like it we carry - is perfect for use with our Fabric Wall Finishing System. Combined with our Fabric Mounting Frame and ReCore Backing, this fabric can be used to create anything from a full-wall covering to a group of panels that will improve acoustics, protect your walls and provide you with a tackable surface to pin documents, posters or reminders.

A Simple System

3 Components

1: Track / Frame

The Track frames the Panel and holds the backing in place and the Fabric taut over the surface

2: Backing Material

The Backing can be any substrate. Our ReCore provides acoustical control, high-impact durability & tackability

3: Fabric

The Fabric is rolled into the Track's hidden channel and held over the panel surface to mitigate visible damage

The Fabricmate AdvantageLearn More

HORIZONTAL – TACKBOARD LAYOUT

layout2

One of the most popular layouts. Very functional in a classroom environment and very affordable. Used in classrooms, conference rooms, and open-plan offices.. Acoustical & Tackable.

Advantages: Single band. This layout integrates a tackable surface and a marker board. Less expensive than covering an entire wall.

Disadvantages: Less tackable/display area and less sound absorption than with full-wall coverage.

VERTICAL - MULTI-PANEL LAYOUT

layout4

This common look was born of wrapped panels which are limited by the size of their substrate. Use only where this specific look is desired or where frequent panel fabric replacement will be necessary.

Advantages: Full-wall coverage. Accomidates directional fabrics.

Disadvantages: Most expensive in both labor and materials. Considered unattractive due to the multiple seams breaking up the continuity and flow of the wall surface.

HORIZONTAL - 3 PANEL LAYOUT

layout3

One of our more popular full-wall layouts. Looks great in lobbies, conference rooms, and executive offices where maximum sound absorption is required.

Advantages: Great appearance. Lends itself to the use of different colors for a stunning visual effect.

Disadvantages: Slightly more expensive than the 2-Panel Layout.

HORIZONTAL - 2 PANEL LAYOUT

layout2b

The most popular and the most cost effective full wall layout. Highly recommended for lobbies, classrooms, student housing and where maximum sound absorption is required.

Advantages: Very attractive. Most cost-effective use of labor and materials.

Disadvantages: None!

HORIZONTAL - 3 PANEL CURVED LAYOUT

Advantages: Partial wall coverage or decorative wainscoting

Disadvantages: Less tackable/display area and less sound absorption than with full-wall cover

MONOLITHIC - SEAMLESS PANEL

MONOLITHIC PANEL

Polyester and polyolefin fabrics can be sonically welded to provide an unbroken fabric surface. The sonically welded seam is virtually invisible.
